This website is operated for Danny Williams, indie author.

Release updates

If you sign up, we store your email address, the time you signed up and your consent to receive new-release updates. We use these details to maintain Danny’s release list. Your address is stored privately with our hosting provider, Vercel, and is available only to authorised site administrators. It is not published or sold.

You can unsubscribe and remove your address at any time. Release emails should always include that link. We keep your signup until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it.

Enquiries

When you contact us, your name, email and message are stored privately and sent through MailingPigeon to Danny’s inbox so your enquiry can be handled. Do not include sensitive personal information. To ask about your data, request a correction or request deletion, use the contact form and mention “privacy request”.

Signed-copy requests

When you request signed books, your name, email, delivery address, quantity and optional dedication are stored privately with Vercel and sent through MailingPigeon to Danny’s inbox. Danny uses these details to arrange payment and delivery. This does not subscribe you to marketing emails. Request records are kept while your enquiry is being handled and for any necessary order records; contact Danny at toast.the.archer@gmail.com to ask for access or deletion. Payment happens separately through SumUp, under its own privacy notice; this website does not collect card details.

Third-party content

Instagram content loads only when you select “Load latest posts”. Facebook events, when available, load only when you select “Load Facebook events”. The selected service then receives information such as your IP address and may use cookies under its own privacy policy. External links to Instagram, TikTok, Amazon and bookshops take you to services with their own privacy notices.

Optional analytics

If you accept analytics, Google Analytics measures page visits and completed signup, contact and signed-copy request actions. We do not include names, email addresses, delivery details or dedications in analytics events. Analytics cookies help measure usage. You can reject analytics or withdraw your choice using “Cookie settings” on the website. The site works without analytics. Your preference is saved in your browser.

Site operation

Vercel processes technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. Fonts and icons load from Google Fonts and jsDelivr. The hidden-lore feature saves your discoveries in your browser only; clearing site data resets them. We do not use advertising cookies or advertising trackers.
